This website is technically and organisationally maintained by the Central Technical Office at DLR Rheinhessen Nahe Hunsrück. The editorial responsibility lies with the authors of DLR. The DLR is responsible for processing the collected personal data.
Collection and processing of personal data
	When you visit our web pages, the web servers temporarily store the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages you visit on our website, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used as well as the web page from which you visit us by default for the purpose of system security. Additional personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address is not collected unless you provide such information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration for an event, an order for informational materials, a newsletter, a survey, a competition, for the execution of a contract or an information request.
Use and disclosure of personal data
	We use the personal data provided by you exclusively for the purpose of technical administration of the websites and to fulfil your wishes and requirements, i.e. as a rule to prepare events, to process a contract concluded with you or to answer your enquiry. Security
	We take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. This means that communication between your computer and our servers takes place using a approved encryption procedure if your browser supports SSL.If you wish to contact us by e-mail, we point out that the confidentiality of the transmitted information is not guaranteed. The content of emails can be viewed by third parties.
Children
	Persons under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians. We do not request personal information from children, do not collect them and do not share them with third parties.

Communication via e-mail
	Communication via e-mail can have security gaps. For example, e-mails can be intercepted and viewed by experienced Internet users on their way to the administration staff. If we receive an e-mail from you, we assume that we are entitled to reply by e-mail. Otherwise, you must explicitly refer to another form of communication. On request, we are able to encrypt the messages using common encryption standards.
Newsletter
	You have the opportunity to register for our newsletter. All we need to register is your e-mail address. We do not share your e-mail address with third parties. You can unsubscribe at anytime. Use the Link www.dlr.rlp.de> Service> Newsletter for Registration and deregistration. Our newsletter does not contain any tracking features (we do not use tracking pixels or individualized links). If you sign up for our newsletter, we will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided during registration.In this confirmation email, we ask you to confirm the registration by clicking on a confirmation link (so-called double opt-in procedure.) We use this confirmation exclusively to be able to prove that we only send newsletters if they explicitly order from the recipient were).

Plugins und Tools
YouTube
	Our websites use plugins of the YouTube pages operated by Google. The website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. Google Maps
	Our websites use the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence on this data transfer. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
	Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, employment or the place of the alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of the personal data concerning you is against the DSGVO violates. The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been submitted will inform the complainant of the status and results of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy pursuant to Article 78 of the GDPR.
